Ivy Ma is a Hong Kong artist working in sculpture, installation, and drawings. Having studied in Hong Kong, Australia and the United Kingdom, Ma has held solo exhibitions in Hong Kong and Japan, and participated in group exhibitions in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Pakistan and Australia. Ma now lives and works in Hong Kong. She uses her art to explore sensitive moments throughout history, including the Hiroshima disaster and the Killing Fields in Cambodia. Reflecting on the relationship between nature and history, Ma’s works often exude an air of stillness.
