Him Lo is a Hong Kong-born artist. His work is predominantly an exploration of the forms of existence within a city. Lo focuses on the relationships between the ego and the physical. Through violent and dark expressions, he expresses time with a sense of immediacy and emergency. In 2012, Lo created three performance pieces, Invisible Mark, Running Project and Leave Me + Build Me. Lo has also published three books, Two Swallows (2004), My Beloved Cat (2006) and White (2008). He uses different media to express his thoughts and feelings, though predominantly focusing on paintings, performances and illustrated books.
